Registration is open to charities in England, Wales and Northern Ireland who have a fundraising expenditure of less than £100,000 a year.
We define fundraising expenditure as the costs incurred by a charity when individuals or third parties make contributions to it for its charitable purposes, and any other costs related to charitable fundraising. Read the full definition here.
To apply you must be registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales or Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
If you are not registered with the charity commissions, you may be able to apply to register with us as a non charity. Find out more here.
The cost of small charity registration with us is £50 per year. This can be paid by direct debit, PayPal, BACS or cheque.
There are many good reasons for registering.
We’ll send you access details for the registration pack within seven working days of processing your payment. The pack includes our badge, which you can use to show that you’re registered, and guidelines for its use. Once registered your charity will appear in our directory.
